International Cooperation

Since its establishment in 1993, the Bank has consistently forged constructive partnerships and strategic alliances with various international institutions culminating in a number of partnership alliances and membership arrangements to support the Bank in the implementation of its mandate and enhance the opportunities for growth and business development in the African continent.

It is worth noting that these partnership alliances were conducted with the Bank’s various stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives of interest to both parties.

In order to strengthen the relevance of these partnerships, strategic alliances and cooperation entered into by the Bank, Afreximbank has developed a Framework for partnership alliances and membership arrangements to ensure the accomplishment of objectives of the partnership with its stakeholders and the implementation of the agreed areas of collaboration.

Moreover, in order to facilitate the implementation of the partnership alliances and membership arrangements the Bank is in the process of automating its partnership alliances to ensure an efficient implementation of the objectives of the partnership with its stakeholders.
