Afreximbank Chief Meets President of France’s Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur

Renaud Muselier President of the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, today in Marseille, France, received Prof. Benedict Oramah, President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).

The meeting of the two leaders took place in the runup to the Invest in Méditerranée du Futur conference which will take place in Marseille tomorrow. Prof. Oramah is scheduled to address the conference.

They discussed collaboration opportunities between the province and Afreximbank. Mr. Muselier informed the Prof. Oramah about the key economic figures for the province and also briefed him on the Invest in Méditerranée du Futur conference.

The Invest in Méditerranée du Futur conference, dubbed Act III, following two previous sessions, is dedicated to investments in Mediterranean countries and will feature high-level personalities from 30 countries discussing the major economic and societal challenges in the region.

It is also aimed at bringing together public and private investors and putting them in contact with project leaders from different parts of the Mediterranean.
