Fidelity Bank Team Visits Afreximbank

A team from Nigeria-based Fidelity Bank visited the Cairo Headquarters of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) today for discussions on strengthening collaboration with the continental multilateral financial institution in supporting trade finance activities in Nigeria and African.

The team, led by Nnamdi Okonkwo, Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, met with Afreximbank President Dr. Benedict Oramah, who was joined by the members of the Bank’s Senior Management and other officers.

The discussion centered on how the two institutions could build on their existing relationship to support Nigerian and African businesses engaged in trading activities.

Mr. Okonkwo was accompanied by Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Executive Director, Commercial and Consumer Banking, Lagos and Southwest.

President Oramah was joined from Afreximbank by Executive Vice Presidents Denys Denya and Amr Kamel, as well as by Kanayo Awani, Managing Director, Intra-African Trade Initiative; Samuel Loum, Director, Credit Assessment; Elias Kagumya, Director, Risk Management; Gwen Mwaba, Director, Trade Finance; Rene Awambeng, Director, Client Relations; Richman Dzene, Special Assistant to the President; Ekene Uzor, Special Assistant to the President; and Eric Intong Monchu of the Trade Finance Department.
