Job Summary
The African Advanced Technology and Creative Group (AATCG) is an Afreximbank subsidiary designed to drive innovation, advanced manufacturing, digital technology, and cultural industries across Africa. AATCG is committed to fostering industrialization, promoting creative economies, and ensuring African nations leverage Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies.
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of AATCG. This individual will lead budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance efforts, working closely with the CEO and the Afreximbank Finance cluster to ensure the subsidiary’s long-term financial sustainability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans for AATCG.

Monitor financial performance and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to management and key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial, tax, and regulatory frameworks in host country and in line with Afreximbank policies.

Supervise accounting processes including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

Manage cash flow, investment, and funding strategies for ongoing projects.

Partner with operational teams to assess and evaluate business opportunities and risks.

Build financial models for new ventures, partnerships, and investment decisions.

Ensure full alignment with Afreximbank’s internal financial reporting standards and risk guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

A Master’s degree (MBA or MSc Finance) is preferred.

A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) is required.

Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Experience in a multinational or financial institution environment is highly desirable.

Experience working with subsidiaries, start-ups, or investment vehicles is an added advantage.

Knowledge of IFRS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
