Job Summary
The Real Estate & Administration division at Afreximbank Group supports the Bank’s core functions by deploying innovative, cost-effective, and client-focused systems and processes. These ensure seamless real estate, procurement, and general management services.
The Assistant Manager, Real Estate & Administration (Management Information Systems – MIS) will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Management Information Systems (MIS) within the Real Estate & Administration division. This role ensures efficient data management, seamless IT operations, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and user support, while ensuring compliance with international best practices, QHSE standards, and Bank policies. The incumbent will work closely with the IT department to maintain system integrity, analyze data for decision-making, and continuously improve MIS infrastructure and reporting mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Management & Service Optimization
- Provide guidance and support to ADMI team members, enhancing overall performance.
- Implement performance management frameworks, ensuring clear objectives and regular reviews.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure service efficiency, response times, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze departmental and individual performance metrics, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor service performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Communicate SLA metrics and performance results to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
2. Training & Knowledge Development
- Design and oversee the execution of training programs for service agents, ensuring they are well-versed in systems, procedures, and best practices.
3. MIS Infrastructure & Service Desk Management
- In collaboration with the Service Desk & MIS team, oversee the Service Desk ticketing system to ensure smooth operations and successful resolution of tickets.
- Ensure the implementation, upgrades, and version control of all systems meet operational requirements.
- Liaise with service providers to oversee testing, upgrades, and database management.
- Ensure compliance with international IT standards, QHSE policies, and Afreximbank regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in the above fields is preferred.
Certifications
- Specialized training in database management, IT systems, or related areas is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in MIS management, IT systems, or data analytics.
- Fluency in English is required.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong SQL skills and expertise in data analysis and database management.
- Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware, software, applications, and programming.
