Job Summary
As Associate, Client Relations, you will support the business development and client relationship efforts of the Francophone West Africa team. You will work closely with senior Client Managers and product specialists to identify trade and export development finance opportunities across the region.
You will play a key role in developing analytical reports, preparing presentations and proposals, and helping manage a high-performing client portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment and contribute directly to advancing Africa’s trade agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Analysis

Support the review of client proposals and financial statements.

Develop basic information reports, sector updates, and indicative term sheets.

Assist in preparing memos, credit applications, RfPs and due diligence documentation.

Support Client Managers in client engagement, including marketing and account plans.

Participate in roadshows, conferences, and presentations.
Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management

Develop strong relationships with regional corporates, banks, DFIs, central banks, and regulators.

Act as a trusted support in managing and growing key client accounts.

Promote the Bank’s full suite of products and solutions in the region.
Internal Coordination & Reporting

Manage KYC/onboarding processes and assist with Salesforce CRM updates.

Prepare internal reports, call reports, briefing notes, and risk assessments.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely execution of transactions.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting or a related field.

A post-graduate degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience

Minimum 3 years in a leading financial institution, preferably with exposure to:

Skills & Attributes

Strong financial analysis and modeling skills (in both French and English).

Proficient in preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and client documentation.

Knowledge of the trade and economic landscape in Francophone West Africa is essential.
