Job Summary

As Assistant Manager, Banking Operations (Loan Administration), you will play a critical role in supporting the Bank’s loan administration processes from disbursement to full repayment. You will ensure operational integrity, compliance with credit terms, and maintain accurate documentation while working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities

Administer loan files from disbursement to full repayment

Ensure all credit approvals and KYC documentation are in place

Verify security documents are complete, perfected, and properly filed

Support departments in monitoring loan covenants and compliance

Detect possible default events and report accordingly

Process all loan-related entries and miscellaneous transactions

Monitor and diarize all applicable fees

Manage customer accounts and blocked balances

Produce internal loan-related reports

Disburse transactions after confirming compliance with all Conditions Precedent (CPs)

Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, or Finance

Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in credit administration, trade finance, and banking back-office operations

Experience with legal documentation and market best practices

Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse cultures

Ability to liaise with senior officials of banks, corporates, and governments

Proficiency in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, or Portuguese is an advantage

Strong understanding of banking systems, policies, and procedures

Ability to guide junior staff and allocate work as necessary
