Afreximbank has signed a Framework Cooperation Agreement, with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat. The AfCFTA Secretariat is the lead institution charged with driving the implementation of the AfCFTA Agreement, with Afreximbank as a key collaborating partner on a wide range of implementing initiatives including PAPSS, the IATF and the AfCFTA Adjustment Facility.
Afreximbank is also a key supporter of the secretariat through its grants and technical assistance programme. The FCA cements the collaboration between the 2 institutions across a range of initiatives.
